Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Trading Charts ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Trading Charts is a macOS application for viewing market charts, running AI-assisted technical analysis, and organizing watchlists. It is a read-only viewer. It does not connect to brokerages, place trades, manage positions, or move money.

Subject to these terms, Kodeora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Trading Charts for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app.
• Use the app to scrape, abuse, or programmatically hammer any of the third-party data sources it queries.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass the AI usage gate, paywall, or any technical access control.

Trading Charts offers Pro subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system, processed by RevenueCat:

• Weekly — $5.99
• Monthly — $14.99 (3-day free trial)
• Yearly — $49.99 (3-day free trial)
• Lifetime — $99.99 (one-time purchase)

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before period end. Manage and cancel from your Apple ID's subscriptions page in App Store settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy.

Free users get exactly one (1) AI analysis across the app's lifetime, after which any AI feature requires a Pro subscription. All non-AI features (charts, watchlists, search, market data) remain free forever.

AI-generated analyses are not financial advice. They are educational interpretations produced by Anthropic's Claude Haiku 4.5 reading a chart screenshot. The model:

• Can misread the chart, misidentify levels, or hallucinate indicators.
• Has no access to fundamentals, news flow, or order-book data.
• Does not know your risk tolerance, position size, or portfolio.

Always do your own research. Never trade purely on an AI output. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Quote data is sourced from Yahoo Finance and chart widgets are embedded from TradingView. Data may be delayed, incorrect, or temporarily unavailable. Trading Charts does not guarantee accuracy, timeliness, or completeness. Not for use in any high-frequency, professional, or fiduciary trading context.

Trading Charts integrates with Anthropic, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, alternative.me, and CoinGecko. Their respective terms apply when you use the corresponding feature.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trading Charts and Kodeora are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, AI misreads, data outages, or any other consequential damage arising from your use of the app. Your trading decisions are entirely your own.

We may suspend or terminate access to the AI proxy or the app if you violate these terms or abuse the service (e.g. automated scraping, key extraction, payment fraud). You may stop using the app at any time.

We may update these terms. Material changes will trigger a notification inside the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Kodeora is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
